A host of enterprises involved in the agricultural supply chain are again participating and will present the wide variety of interesting career options available in agriculture. Growcome expects that what will be evident to participants will be that the agricultural industry is vibrant, innovative and full of colourful, enthusiastic characters with a passion for their jobs.
At each enterprise, students will be given an opportunity to have one-on-one, in-depth conversations with the employer or an employee about what their jobs entailed, the skills needed and the personality traits that are best suited to the job.
Judging from the overwhelmingly positive feedback from both the students and the participating businesses in the pilot last year, the project will again be a huge success.
