The decision followed a survey of NGINZ-members revealed that the majority of will not get to, or are unable to commit to, making it to the planned November conference.
The Board subsequently determined that it is both sensible and prudent to cancel conference. It was not an easy call, and it appreciates it will disappoint and be an inconvenience, especially to those who have committed to travel costs. NGINZ said it apologises for this, ask for members’understanding, and suggest those adversely affected to contact Frances Palmer.
The industry body said it expects to be in a strong position to launch and run an exceptional future-focused event that will bring together its work over the previous two years on industry collaboration, and provide a clear sense of direction for the industry, the Association, itself, and its membership.
