Apple Replant Disease Field Day

9 November 2015

Apple replant disease costs nurseries thousands of dollars a year – it prevents trees being replanted on a site previously used for the same (eg apple) or closely related species (eg pears). Conventional mitigation methods involve repeatably developing new land and/or fumigation – both have resource and cost issues and the latter, health and safety issues for both nurseries and neighbors.

Where: Waimea Nurseries, Golden Hills Road, RD1 Richmond Nelson

  • 11am - Introductions at Waimea Nurseries.

  • 12:30pm - Questions & Discussion.
