NZSVO 2016 Sauvignon Blanc workshop

27 November 2015

This event will examine the various influences that contribute to the complexity of this variety and where we are at and how we can further improve wines made from this variety.

It is targeted at grape growers, wine makers, other wine professionals and sommeliers with an interest in Sauvignon Blanc. It is anticipated that there will be a number of overseas delegates present who will also be attending Sauvignon 2016 The international Sauvignon Blanc Celebration.

NZSVO has successfully run a number of similar workshops in the past.  In addition, it has hosted the very successful International Cool Climate symposiums in 1988 and 2006 and is bidding to host the 2020 symposium.

Date: Sunday, 31 January and the morning of Monday, 1 February 2016

Venue: Clubs of Marlborough, 42 Alfred St, Blenheim 7201

This workshop will run over two days and is being held immediately prior to Sauvignon 2016, The International Sauvignon Blanc Celebration. The Celebration commences on the Monday afternoon following the completion of the workshop.
