With more than twenty years’ experience in the landscape industry, including thirteen in the United Kingdom, Mark is a highly qualified project leader, says Natural Habitats’ Managing Director, Graham Cleary. “With substantial projects underway such as the Western Belfast Bypass motorway project, we have been looking for an experienced regional manager for some time in a very tight professional market. Mark’s wide experience from horticulture, to landscape design to large-scale project management is the skill set we were looking for to lead our company’s growth in the South Island.”

In 1993, Jowsey graduated with a BSc in Land Management and Technology from the Askham Bryan College of Agriculture and Horticulture, affiliated to Leeds University in the United Kingdom.  Since then he has held a wide range of roles from design to project construction management both in New Zealand and the UK.

“Having worked in New Zealand since 2008 as a landscape project manager, Mark is fully conversant with New Zealand’s legislation from construction to resource management and health & safety,” Cleary says. “With a strong client focus, Mark has a keen understanding of the value of building great relationships with our South Island customers and industry colleagues.”
