PRC Consul General to speak in Chch

This is Mr Jin Zhijian’s first speech on trade for 2016 and will cover trading between China and New Zealand in the Canterbury region.

The key themes in this presentation are:

  • An overview from the Consul General's perspective;
  • Successes and learnings from the last four years since the opening of a CG office in Christchurch;
  • Opportunities and challenges from a Chinese perspective in relation to the key areas, tourism, construction, education, primary products, and general exporting and importing moving into 2016 and onwards;
  • The importance of New Zealand being China-ready and, conversely, Chinese being New Zealand-ready.
