AIPH aims to put flower, plant and landscaping services on a global agenda and to stimulate increased demand for ornamental trees, plants and flowers worldwide. It works to protect and promote the interests of the industry, provide an international hub for industry information and knowledge exchange, and lead best practice in ornamentals production.

It is also responsible for approving global horticultural exhibitions. Upcoming expos include Expo 2016 Antalya in Turkey and the 2016 Tangshan International Horticultural Exposition in China.

AIPH has been hosting the International Grower of the Year Awards since 2010, celebrating the world’s best ornamentals growers. Its annual Awards Gala will take place at this year’s IPM Essen trade show in Germany.
