Roeland Winkel and Jeroen de Wit study at HAS University of Applied Sciences in Holland. They said, “We’re especially looking for companies that are active in the horticultural sector (flowers or vegetables). This can be a primary company, such as a greenhouse, or a secondary company like a supplier or research company in plants.”
The students have 15-20 weeks to do a research project on a company, which could be in areas like cultivation technology/research, processing of vegetables/flowers or financial analysis.
The internship needs to run from November till March. Those interested in finding out more, HortNZ suggests that they contact the pair via e-mail.
