NGINZ says that it's about shaping the future – yours, ours, industry's – and working together to represent the views of industry members on issues in which they cannot be as effective on their own.
At this year's NGINZ conference, the sector is expected to talk of these matters and more, including workplace health and safety, the Plant Biosecurity Index, import regulations, employment law, the shrinking agrichemical toolbox and solutions to people problems.
In addition, participants should experience some of the best that Wellington has to offer. NGINZ has booked two iconic Wellington sites for both dinners. Wednesday participants will travel to ‘Zealandia’ (previously Karori Sanctuary), arriving in the twilight to hear the birdsong.
On Thursday night they will head to Te Papa where participants are invited to wander through and experience the emotive ‘Gallipoli’ exhibition by Weta Workshops. They will dine in the beautiful Te Marae, with stunning views over Wellington harbour and unique atmosphere, and the winner of Young Achiever 2016 will be announced.
