What are the benefits of a UAV?

  • NIR and NDVI can identify crop stress well before the human eye can, leading to faster, more effective treatments;
  • Confirm that crops are growing where, when and how they should, right through the growing season;
  • Detect problems like poor growth, lack of nutrition, faulty irrigation, pest or weed invasions and crop damage as early as possible, while you can still do something about it, and potentially increasing crop yields by 15- 20 percent;
  • Plan the most expensive crop inputs like fertiliser, pesticides and weed control applications based on crop health and plant density potentially saving you 20 – 30 per cent of your input costs.
