Over 200 exhibitors from 20 countries are expected to attend and present premium fresh produce destined for the Chinese market. In addition, 180 domestic orchards and cooperatives will showcase their products and new varieties. All are licensed to export by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ).
Buyers and suppliers from across China and abroad, including Thailand, the Middle East, Russia and Ukraine, are expected to come to the show. Chinese importers, wholesalers, retailers and e-commerce companies will be present, as well as national and international seed and orchard management companies, logistics providers and packaging producers.
During the exhibition, a Fresh Conference will be organised that will review an number of current issues, including new Chinese fruit varieties, annual import and export data and trends, China's agricultural state policy and trends in the Chinese retail market.
The organisers suggest that ChinaFVF could be the first step for international players to enter the Chinese market, find partners and expand business in China. It is also an opportunity to find premium Chinese produce, be up to date regarding the latest national policies, understand market entry processes and meet with AQSIQ officials.
