As part of EuroFIR, Plant & Food Research will gain access to academics, research organisations and food companies in 27 countries involved in developing new foods and delivering food composition data.

The move should help support the NZ food industry’s use of new food technologies, novel foods, and the development of new foods in New Zealand with recognised composition and scientifically-validated health claims aimed at the European consumer.
