Regional Plan Change for Waikato, Waipa River catchments

12 January 2017

These have now been approved by the Waikato Regional Council, and the Plan Change Proposal is available for public comment through a submission process.

Groups and individuals can make a submission, either supporting, opposing or expressing a neutral stance on the plan and its various parts. These need to be developed and delivered by 8 March (recently extended to this date) and will be heard at by the Hearings Committee in the New Year.

In the future, Farm Environment Plans (FEPs) are likely to be necessary and will require crop input data such as fertiliser records, soil test results, individual paddock applications etc, and all such data from 2014 onwards will need to be kept.
