The Hort Connections organising committee says it is thrilled about this exciting development and foresees that the new relationship will open the event to even more people in the industry.
Potatoes South Australia is also using Hort Connections as a platform with other potato industry partners to support Arris Pty Ltd in the launch of the Potato Industry Extension Forum. Additionally, Potatoes South Australia will host an industry luncheon on Monday 15 May 2017 preceding the Forum.
Potatoes South Australia CEO Robbie Davis believes that “as South Australia is Australia’s largest potato producing state, and as potatoes are the largest contributor to national horticultural product by both value and volume, it is logical that we co-host the inaugural Hort Connections, and assist in showcasing this very significant industry. We are delighted to be on board.”
Hort Connections 2017, to be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from 15-17 May 2017, combines the National Horticulture Convention and PMA Fresh Connections and will bring together the largest number of producers, supply chain members, government stakeholders and industry service providers in the Australian horticulture industry.
The event’s programme is expected to showcase some of the world’s leading horticultural experts, business advisers, forward thinkers and motivational speakers. By merging two of the industry’s biggest and most productive expositions, Hort Connections offers opportunities for producers, wholesalers, retailers, marketers and supply chain members to network and grow.
