Waikato Regional Council Raises Biosecurity Awareness

In an innovative move the Waikato Regional Council has made July Biosecurity Month and come up with a Quiz on line to allow visitors to test their pest and diseas knowledge, and be in to win one of five books including the following titles

• Nature Guide to the New Zealand Forest by John Dawson and Rob Lucas (RRP NZ$50)
• An Illustrated Guide to Common Weeds of New Zealand by Ian Popay, Paul Champion and Trevor James (RRP NZ$59.99)

Click here to go to the link and take the quiz. The answers to all questions can be found on the sites biosecurity web pages. Participants can take the quiz as many times as they like to get them right. Entries close Tuesday 31 July 2012.
