Update contacts for NZFGA

The New Zealand Flower Growers’ Association is keen to update the data it has about flower growers in New Zealand.

The association has an extensive data base of more than 1500 contacts, three quarters of which are classified as growers.

NZFGA wants to tidy up the balance and get more details from those contacts which are not yet classified as growers.

NZFGA President Daniel Shuurman says this would benefit the industry greatly.

“To have more detailed information about the number of flower growers in New Zealand would give government officials and policy makers a much better picture of the shape and structure of the industry. This in turn
would add value and importance to the industry when dealing with the government,” Mr Schuurman says.
