Winner of the Young Horticulturist of the Year Announced

Viticulturist Braden Crosby takes out the 2012 Young Horticulturist of the Year Competition

Braden demonstrated his skills across a range of categories to come out triumphant winning a generous prize package and the start of a journey which will no doubt offer huge opportunities for the 30 year old winemaker and viticulturist from Carterton's Borthwick Estate.

Runner up in the competition and also winner of the Agmardt Innovation Project and the Bayer Best Practice Award was 29 year old Operations Manager and vegetable grower Andrew Scott. Karl Noldan 26 year old Wellington Botanic Gardens Curator got a  third to great applause. The Speech competition was taken out by Daniel Chong, a production foreman at Rainbow Trees who have produced past winner Jason Greene as well as Daniel another excellent candidate
