Family Business Restructures for the Future

Leo Faber began the manufacturing process of Greenhouses in a modest factory in New Zealand more than 35 years ago. Since those humble beginnings, Faber has grown into a successful Multinational company providing world-beating structures for the Australian, New Zealand and into the Asian markets.

Faber Glasshouses has had a long standing partnership with EJ Contractors for almost 25 years. EJ Contractors established their company some 29 years ago and specialize in the construction of new and secondhand glasshouses, modifications and additions, building and project management, shade screen installations, servicing, maintenance, and repairs. The shared vision of taking these businesses to the next level, and a total commitment to customer service forms a strong foundation for the emergence of Apex Greenhouses, the new company resulting from the merger.

As Apex Greenhouses, Leo Faber (founder of Faber Glasshouses) will be stepping down as a director and Folco Faber, along with Eddie Braaksma and James Harris will take on directors roles to utilize their expertise to pursue innovation, improve processes, and professionalism in all areas of business operation.

Apex Greenhouses head office will be based in the existing Faber Glasshouses building in Waiuku, NZ along with a recently opened office and warehouse in Virginia South Australia.

The expansion of resources resulting from the merger brings with it a larger team with extended expertise and CAD design capability and dedicated project managers to utilise state of the art design in keeping with current trends.
