It said that the event replaces the usual GIA Biosecurity Forum. The forum will be aimed at industry groups that have not yet signed the GIA Deed, but are interested in learning more about signing, determining their commitments, or seeking mandate from their membership.

GIA adds that those sectors that have already signed the Deed or is well through the process of making a decision on whether to join, the forum will not be of benefit.
