‘Farmlands NZ’ forms an Association with and Promotes Royal Brinkman of the Netherlands. 

Royal Brinkman is based in the Netherlands and is a supplier, installer and consultant for the professional horticultural industry. Royal Brinkman was started in 1885. 

Royal Brinkman is a renowned international horticultural supplier with representation in the most important horticultural countries worldwide.

 They have knowledgeable employees and offer specialised products, services and solutions for professional horticultural entrepreneurs involved in covered cultivation. They have a wide experience in optimising the glasshouse environment, in all aspects – heating, ventilation, temperature lift, screens lighting, irrigation etc.

Brinkman Horticultural engineering has the knowledge, skills & technical expertise to assist growers with problem solving in many areas at sharp prices.

They also offer expert advice and solutions on crop protection as well as fertilization strategies [calculating the most efficient nutrition plan] and fertilizers.

The range of products is extensive but also includes – disinfection & hygiene; crop support; spraying systems; harvesting systems; packaging; diffuse coatings & shading agents. They are a huge company with thousands of items.

In New Zealand Royal Brinkman have formed an association with two NZ companies

 - Apex greenhouses have had an association with Royal Brinkman for about three years. They offer all the larger items to do with greenhouse set up, or replacement of older systems, as well as complete ‘Turn key solutions ‘for new projects. Some of the items supplied are – Irrigation systems; Computer control systems [Priva]; ECA water sterilisation systems; water tanks; PVC storm water piping – all at competitive prices.

Apex do not stock these large ticket items but have regular containers coming from Europe and many items are duty free.

• Farmlands NZ have a more recent association with Royal Brinkman and are stocking the well used lines Royal Brinkman supply and will increase the number of lines that they stock as demand builds.

• Examples of the items they stock are – an excellent range of shading products, clips string etc, for crop support, both water tanks & PVC piping they do have in stock, specific fertilisers and much more. • They also put together mixed containers of specialist items, specific chemicals, fertilizers, etc. They also have regular containers coming from Europe. Farmlands growing association with Royal Brinkman is indicative of their increasing presence in NZ as major suppliers of horticultural requirements.
