Seed Bulb and Tuber Exports Up
Latest Statistics NZ data indicates that exports of cut flowers and foliage fell 9.1 per cent to $35.1 million in 2010.
However the export of seeds and bulbs has risen considerably. Exports of bulbs and tubers in 2010 were worth $31 million.

Serene Gardens for Christchurch
Lincoln University landscape architecture students have designed six serene gardens for demolition sites across Christchurch.
They have teamed up with Healthy Christchurch and Christchurch's Maori, Pacific and ethnic communities to create the gardens - 'Places of Tranquillity' - temporarily at the demolition sites.
