Hort Innovation Churchill Fellowships return for 2018

13 December 2017

Under a new partnership with Hort Innovation, and supported via theĀ Hort Frontiers strategic partnership initiative, three Churchill Fellowships are being offered annually for the next four years (from 2017). Applications for the next Fellowships will commence 1 February 2018. Successful candidates can commence their Fellowship and associated travel in February the following year (2019).

A Churchill Fellowship is a remarkable opportunity to travel overseas for a minimum of four and a maximum of about eight weeks to conduct research into a topic that the applicant is passionate about and have experience in.

The Fellowship will be awarded on the basis that the research undertaken will focus on a cross-sectoral issue that provides clear benefit to the entire Australian horticulture sector as a whole. It is for anyone who feels that they have exhausted all research opportunities within Australia and would like to see what overseas currently has to offer.
