Mr Wang Zhijian will be giving a presentation on: Trading between China and New Zealand in the Canterbury region.
The key themes in this presentation are around:
• An overview from the Consul General's perspective.
• Opportunities and challenges from a Chinese perspective in relation to the key areas, tourism, construction, education, primary products, and general exporting and importing moving into 2018 and onwards.
• The importance of New Zealand being China ready and conversely Chinese nationals being New Zealand ready.
• Understanding the one belt one road initiative especially the maritime route.
• The implications of China New Zealand Year of Travel 2019.
